Software Engineer II – Xbox Front‑End 
 Join the Xbox Experiences and Platforms Commerce team to empower game creators and players with engaging, friction‑free commerce experiences.
 Job Overview 
 We aim to help creators grow their audience through revamped seller tools and delightful end‑user store experiences, increase monetization across existing and new business models, and accelerate creators’ ability to optimize strategies via advanced data and AI capabilities.
This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home.
 Responsibilities 
  - Learn and apply a variety of tools and technologies to deliver diverse customer experiences.

Qualifications 
 Required 
  - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python (or equivalent experience).
 
 
- Hands‑on experience as a Front‑End Engineer developing modern applications using React and TypeScript.
 
 
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and state management in frontend applications.
 
 
- Experience integrating cloud services and working with deployment pipelines (Azure preferred).
 
 
- A solid interest in delivering compelling end‑user experiences for a gaming audience, with an understanding of their unique needs.
 
 
Preferred 
  - Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 3+ years of technical engineering experience, or Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
 
 
- Experience shipping cross‑platform applications using React.js and TypeScript.
 
 
- Technical knowledge of challenges specific to the gaming space, including responsive UX design across various device form factors and navigational input methods such as gamepad, touch, and mouse/keyboard.
