Requirements:
- Languages:
English (desirable French or Germany).
- Experience:
At least 15 years.
- Industry:
Strong experience and knowledge in LNG Projects especially on regasification plants in operation.
- Open to Relocating:
(France/ Netherlands/ Belgium/Germany.
Principal Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- This position provides leadership in the organization or functional area and is primarily engaged in management activities that establish the direction of a department, function, or project.
The position requires the application of knowledge gained from experience and expertise to perform the principal job duties and responsibilities.
The position will make decisions in areas that may impact the organization and its employees, clients, budgets, policies, procedures, work practices, or compliance programs.
- Lead and coordinate construction activities of the Project, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, cost and schedule requirements.
- Work closely with engineering, operations and contractors to minimize disruption of ongoing plant operations.
- Play the lead role in development of the safety culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed
- Lead the focus on scope change management, assuring that all scope and services are properly bound by the prime contract documents
- Manage all risks associated with the execution of the work; to include being the driver for the focus for on-going focus for on-going risk assessment and associated mitigation efforts
- Establish and maintain full and efficient alignment for all activities, including all functions, departments, and locations with particular focus across project phases
- Develop and implement a safety and security program for all company personnel and contractors as well as establish procedures to monitor the overall site safety program
- Oversee and direct all activity in strict adherence to requirements of the company Quality Program
- Maintain a continuous and focused effort to execute all activity according to the as-sold basis for all of the baseline documents, including regular reporting to senior management on the status thereof
- Assure that all forecasts and progress reporting is accurate and timely
- Manage and promote optimum communication and activity in the interests of client and community relations; serve as the lead company representative to establish and maintain a harmonious relationship with the local community and associated stakeholders
- Typically manage personnel and provide an environment for the development and professional advancement of staff members, including on-the-job and formal training and development opportunities, and timely performance feedback
- Leverage internal and external resources to administer policies and procedures consistently across all business lines, functions, and locations
- Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend /implement appropriate course of action
- Organize and prioritize a variety of complex and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
- Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
- Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
- Coordination and monitoring of all construction activities till Mechanical completion and turnover to Commissioning team.
- Support to commissioning team and support to client during start up
