Using Python and other modern programming languages, build and enhance data collection pipelines.
Using JavaScript and Python, build internal tools and dashboards to allow users to interact with data collection pipelines.
Participate in code reviews.
Collaborate with a talented team of engineers, data scientists, product managers, and subject-matter experts.
Translate requirements, specifications, and technical design documents into secure applications and/or services.
Develop and maintain software using already established best practices for creating readable and maintainable code.
5+ years of experience in software engineering.
Ability to work alongside other engineers to accomplish tasks.
Ability to manage time efficiently and focus on clear goals.
Ability to ask questions when you need assistance.
A pragmatic approach towards tackling unforeseen challenges.
Infinite appetite for learning.
Experience with Python.
Experience with JavaScript.
Experience with HTML and CSS.
Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English is required to collaborate with global engineering teams and create clear technical documentation.
Experience with Scrapy (Python web scraping framework).
Experience working with Neo4j or similar graph databases.
Experience with issue tracking tools, such as Jira.
