Responsibilities
- Meeting and/or exceeding goals including, but not limited to, revenue, customer growth, and sales expenses.
- Managing forecasts, pipelines, and predictability for revenue achievement.
- Managing the entire sales lifecycle of transactions to ensure visibility into and predictability of the lead-to-close process.
- Ensuring and enabling the highest levels of professionalism.
- Acting as a Genesys representative to maintain positive relationships with all employees, customers, partners, and shareholders.
- Providing timely and positive resolution of escalated sales-related issues.
- Communicating with key customers, business partners and executives on significant issues and accomplishments.
- Selling and promoting the sales of Genesys products to customers including negotiating price, concessions and terms and conditions of the sale.
- Participating in strategic and tactical planning for the division.
- Building relationships with key players in customer accounts and penetrating the account at all levels and subsidiaries.
- Becoming a trusted advisor on Genesys products/solutions to meet customer needs.
- Developing and executing a territory plan to maximize revenue, generating monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicting revenue.
- Managing escalations and conducting weekly progress meetings with the sales team.
- Assisting in the development of short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
- Interacting across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure objectives are met.
- Influencing thinking or gaining acceptance of others in sensitive situations.
Qualifications
- +5 years of sales experience within the technology industry.
- Leadership skills to lead sales engagement.
- High energy, results-oriented, and a team player willing to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated track record in software sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills: producing materials, delivering presentations, and performing general education.
- Ability to represent the company at senior executive levels.
- Able to develop proposals and manage the sales cycle with minimum supervision while providing regular updates on progress and challenges.
