Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously, from concept and design through commissioning and documentation.
- Collaborate with sales representatives and customers during discovery to define project requirements and propose effective solutions.
- Coordinate project activities with internal teams, service technicians and external partners.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, prepare cost estimates and develop technical specifications.
- Support post-sales service integration to offer a complete Ecolab solution package.
- Provide technical guidance and training to sales teams and junior engineers.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting throughout the lifecycle.
Qualifications
- University degree or master's in Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Chemical Engineering or related field.
(required) - 7–10 years of relevant engineering experience, ideally in the water treatment industry (mining and pulp/paper) (desirable)
- 5–8 years leading teams (required)
- 5 years proven history in project management and technical execution (required)
- Solid knowledge of safety regulations in Chile (mining or other industry) (desirable)
- Ability to read and design P&ID diagrams (AutoCAD), proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (MS Project) (desirable)
- Know SAP at user level (desirable)
- English level from B2 (intermediate to advanced)
- Residence in Santiago with 50% travel availability (minimum 2 weeks per month traveling) (required)
