Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced
Electrical-Mechanical Project Manager
to lead complex
water and wastewater treatment projects
across
Ireland and Europe
.
This is a long-term opportunity with a leading engineering firm delivering infrastructure projects at scale.
The successful candidate will bring
10+ years of relevant experience
, including managing
design, construction, commissioning
, and operations of
MEP systems
in water sector projects.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of project management experience in
water/wastewater treatment - Degree-qualified in
Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering - Fluent professional English
– essential - Expertise in
Project Management
,
BIM
,
CPM scheduling
(Primavera P6 or equivalent) - Familiarity with
Lean Construction methodologies - Strong leadership of cross-functional teams and subcontractors
- Willingness to
relocate or travel within Europe
Desirable:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng or equivalent)
- Experience with
international EPC contractors or consultants - Spanish language (advantageous but not required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of mechanical and electrical scopes on water treatment projects
- Oversee
project planning, scheduling, budgeting
, and stakeholder communication - Ensure
compliance with Irish and EU safety/environmental regulations - Coordinate
multidisciplinary teams
including engineering, site, and operations staff - Implement and monitor
Lean and BIM-based workflows
for project efficiency - Manage risk, quality, and commissioning processes across project lifecycle
