Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously, from concept to launch and documentation.
- Collaborate with sales and client representatives during the discovery phase to define project requirements and propose effective solutions.
- Coordinate project activities with internal teams, service technicians and external partners.
- Ensure projects deliver on time, within budget and meet safety and quality standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, prepare cost estimates and develop technical specifications.
- Support post‑sales integration to offer a complete Ecolab solutions package.
- Provide technical guidance and training to sales teams and junior engineers.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- University or master’s degree in Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Chemical Engineering or related field.
(Exclusion) - 7–10 years of relevant engineering experience, ideally in water treatment industry (mining and paper).
(Desirable) - 5–8 years of team leadership experience.
(Exclusion) - 5+ years of proven project management and technical execution record.
(Exclusion) - Strong knowledge of Chile safety regulations.
(Desirable) - Ability to read and design P&ID (process instrumentation diagrams) (AutoCAD), proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (MS Project).
(Desirable) - SAP user level knowledge.
(Desirable) - English B2 or higher.
(Desirable) - Reside in Santiago and availability for 50% travel.
