We are looking for an experienced
Neo4j Developer
to collaborate with client engineering teams to design and implement advanced solutions for diverse use cases using graph database technology.
The role demands deep expertise in Neo4j, data modeling, and performance tuning to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design graph data models to ensure scalability, performance, and data integrity for various use cases
- Map complex business requirements into graph entity designs and technical architecture
- Optimize Cypher queries to improve query efficiency and reduce data retrieval latency
- Oversee Neo4j database environments, including configuration, backups, security, and monitoring for peak performance
- Ensure seamless integration of Neo4j solutions with current systems, data pipelines, and APIs within the enterprise ecosystem
- Address performance bottlenecks, data consistency challenges, and technical issues in the Neo4j environment
- Provide clear and comprehensive documentation for graph data models, query structures, and technical architecture
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing, deploying, and managing Neo4j-based solutions
- At least 1 year in a leadership capacity
- Expertise in Cypher query language with proficiency in writing and optimizing complex queries
- Strong background in graph data modeling and database architecture principles
- Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
- Experience working with large-scale, complex graph datasets in enterprise contexts
- Knowledge of Neo4j's ecosystem, including tools like Neo4j Bloom, Neo4j Aura, and APOC
- Client-facing or consulting experience is preferred
