Overview
Become a Lead Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer and spearhead the critical migration of a platform from the Azure cloud to an on-premise environment.
You will independently utilize your deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, and Linux to ensure a successful transition.

Responsibilities
- Drive the migration of a platform from the Azure cloud to on-premises infrastructure
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps tools
- Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters and associated services
- Automate administrative tasks using Bash, PowerShell, and Python scripts
- Maintain and optimize Linux and Windows servers for security and performance
- Create and update infrastructure as code with Terraform and Helm
- Evaluate distributed system components to improve integration and efficiency
- Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to support deployment workflows
- Diagnose and fix issues related to container orchestration and deployment
- Monitor system stability and performance to minimize downtime
- Implement security best practices for secret management and network configurations
- Record procedures and system configurations to facilitate knowledge transfer
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Azure DevOps and a minimum of 5 years in related roles
- In-depth understanding of Kubernetes API and cluster services
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and maintenance
- Advanced skills in scripting languages including Bash and Python
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Helm for automated infrastructure setup
- Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and pipeline design
- Ability to assess complex distributed systems and make independent decisions
- Experience with container platforms such as Docker and OpenShift
- Familiarity with Windows system administration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with English proficiency at B2 level or above
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Istio service mesh and network policy management
- Familiarity with monitoring solutions like Prometheus and Grafana
- Understanding of OAuth2 and OIDC authentication standards
- Experience with secret management tools such as HashiCorp Vault
