Kiwiplan MES Lead - Operational & Implementation Focus

- Role Description: Leading a team to implement, configure, and provide comprehensive operational support for the Kiwiplan MES solution.
This role requires deep expertise in the Kiwiplan software suite, as well as a strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes within the CPG industry.

Must-Have Skills
- Kiwiplan (implementation, configuration, support)
- MES-MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management)
- Database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL)
- Industrial data collection and connectivity (OPC)
- Experience with COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) MES solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Lead MES deployment and operational support for multi-site projects within the CPG industry.
Understand business processes and possess strong domain knowledge of this sector.
- Manage a team responsible for both new Kiwiplan implementations and ongoing operational support for existing systems across multiple sites.
Include daily technical issue resolution, routine maintenance, and small enhancement work to improve system functionality.
- Prepare effort estimations and contribute to RFI & RFP processes.
- Collaborate with technical resources and business stakeholders to configure and implement the Kiwiplan solution, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Test and validate configurations, provide knowledge transfer to L2 support teams and end-users.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the team to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
Technical Experience
- Full lifecycle experience with Kiwiplan MES (implementation, configuration, testing, Hypercare support)
- Strong knowledge of core Kiwiplan modules: Production Control, Scheduling, Quality Management, Inventory & Logistics
- Operational support experience: debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving user-reported issues in Kiwiplan
- Experience with small enhancement work: new features, reports, or rules to improve usability
- Database knowledge: Oracle or MS SQL
- Experience interfacing Kiwiplan with ERP, WMS, and shop-floor automation via OPC
- Ability to lead the team from the front and provide technical assistance as needed

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with other COTS MES/MOM solutions
- Experience in the packaging manufacturing industry (corrugated, folding carton, etc.)
- Experience with report development tools associated with Kiwiplan
- Experience in an Agile environment
