Overview
GEOM SpA is a company dedicated to renewable energy projects, focusing on photovoltaic plants for industrial self-consumption and small distributed generation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical‑economical studies to evaluate feasibility of constructing and installing photovoltaic plants, optimizing project efficiency and maximizing profitability.
- For self-consumption proposals, collect information to determine viability and installation potential of photovoltaic systems, reviewing client consumption, available spaces, existing electrical infrastructure, meteorological data, and other relevant aspects.
Prepare plant design, generation simulation, project budget, project evaluation, and client presentation.
- For PMGD/Utility proposals, study client‑sent information, resolve doubts during the process, design, budget, and complete required information.
Iterate as needed until process completion.
- Prepare and present proposal closures.
- Inform the Studies Manager of each proposal offer.
- Contact suppliers and engineering as required for design and budgets.
- Maintain fluent communication with clients.
- Stay updated on latest photovoltaic technology trends and advances.
- Ensure confidentiality of information under internal policy.
- Promote and encourage company values and culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional experience, preferably in renewable energy, proposal studies, and/or presenting offers in renewable energy and/or mining.
- Analytical skills and problem‑solving ability to optimize systems.
- Understanding of regulatory matters and relevant standards in the technology studied.
- Ability to conduct viability studies and economic analysis.
- Environmental awareness and commitment to energy sustainability.
- Intermediate Office skills; advanced Excel.
- Knowledge of unit price concepts.
Education / Career Path
- Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related degree.
