Head of Finance & Controlling
Join our team within Flow division in Chile as Head of Finance & Controlling and help us take finance to the next level.
Your main tasks and responsibilities
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
- Assume overall leadership of daily financial and control operations, including reporting, planning, analysis, accounting, internal controls, and budgeting.
- Collaborate with business partners by providing complete and timely financial information to support decision‑making and formulate financial plans.
- Prepare plans, budgets, and forecasts and analyze variances between actual data, forecasts, and budget.
- Communicate all relevant issues to internal and external stakeholders in an effective and timely manner.
- Review and evaluate internal controls and risk issues, coordinate with colleagues to ensure effective risk management policies, and support internal and external audits.
- Deliver books and records for the legal entity, submit financial closing reports to the Group and regulatory statements on time, and sign financial reports.
- Manage costs, establish and analyze KPIs, and identify improvement measures.
- Oversee and control capital expenditures and ensure compliance with all group‑defined standards and guidelines.
- Assume responsibility for the internal control system (ICS) and global DoA within the legal entity.
To succeed in this role, you will need
- University Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and controlling in an international industrial environment.
- SAP knowledge meriting.
- Very good experience in industrial manufacturing.
- Prior Financial Analysis / Management experience is a must.
- Strategic leader with strong grasp of core financial concepts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and deep business understanding.
- Very strong problem solving and organizational skills.
- High English / Spanish native speaking.
