Position Summary
To advance Teach For All’s 25-year vision, we are seeking a Global Lead, Financial Consulting & Advisory to lead high-impact support to early stage entrepreneurs and network partners.
This critical senior role will drive the long-term financial health and sustainability of Teach For All’s network partners globally.
Reporting to the Senior Global Director, Financial Consulting & Advisory, the Global Lead will advise finance heads, CEOs, COOs, boards, and other stakeholders, building relationships across the globe to create a vibrant, interconnected global community.
Key objectives include equipping finance and senior leaders to navigate complex grants, mitigate systemic financial risks, and ensure long-term solvency required for sustained organizational growth and impact across the network.
Key Responsibilities
- Coaching & Consulting Support: Provide strategic financial consulting and advisory services to senior leaders and network partners, shaping budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy.
- Strategic Partner: Act as partner to partner CEOs and senior management, translating complex financial data into organizational strategy and influencing structural decisions.
- Partner Support: Guide partner staff and early-stage entrepreneurs to self-diagnose financial strength, identify growth opportunities, and prioritize initiatives.
- Leadership Coaching: Offer coaching to senior leaders across organizations, enabling mindset shifts and collaborative practices to unlock financial strength.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional internal teams (Subgrants, Development & Partnerships, Government & Multilateral, Executive and Regional Teams) to align strategies and ensure cohesive financial health.
- Knowledge & Learning Experience Development: Design and lead dynamic learning experiences (virtual and in-person) for finance and non-finance leaders; create and curate financial resources, tools, and best practices.
- Finance Communities Facilitation: Facilitate and foster growth of regional finance communities, provide targeted coaching to heads of finance/CFOs, and support finance staff to engage meaningfully with peers.
Qualifications
- Professional Certification: ACCA, ACA, or CIMA is required.
- Senior Leadership Experience: Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in a financial capacity.
- Financial Strategy, Systems & Operations: Proven expertise in senior financial leadership role, strong understanding of financial strategy, planning, risk management, and ability to develop and evolve financial systems.
- Strategic Business Partnering & Coaching: Proven ability to act as strategic business partner, coaching and advising senior leaders on complex financial matters.
- Global Fluency: Ability to communicate, lead, and participate in calls in English and Spanish.
- Sector Knowledge (Preferred): Experience working within the nonprofit or development sector.
Additional Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with the Teach For All model and/or prior work experience with one of Teach For All’s network partners.
- Ability to build relationships across lines of difference and virtually.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment.
- Experience designing tools and experiences to facilitate adult learning across diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Experience launching and/or coaching and supporting social enterprises.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.

Compensation
Salary is competitive and dependent on country of hire and prior work experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Travel and Hours
All work is delivered virtually.
Up to 20% travel may be required.
Non-traditional hours may be expected to accommodate different time zones.
