Full Stack Software Engineer – Next.js

Our Engineering team builds scalable systems that power Fortune’s editorial website, conferences, Fortune Recommends and other digital properties.
We launch new products to diversify revenue and improve monetization and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance front‑end solutions using Next.js, ensuring optimal performance, accessibility, and user experience.
- Build robust and scalable backend systems that integrate seamlessly with CMS and APIs, supporting dynamic content and personalized experiences.
- Collaborate closely with content teams to optimize CMS workflows, develop custom integrations, and ensure efficient content publishing across platforms.
- Leverage data analytics and A/B testing to optimize website performance and user experience, driving data‑informed decisions.
- Partner with designers, product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into innovative technical solutions.
- Continuously analyze and optimize web applications for speed, scalability and reliability, ensuring a seamless experience for our global audience.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies in web development, especially Next.js, serverless architectures and headless CMS solutions, and embrace AI to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
- Proven experience building high‑performance web applications using Next.js or similar framework.
- Strong understanding of backend technologies and RESTful API design.
- Experience working with Content Management Systems is a plus.
- Experience with ad technology, DevOps and automated testing.
- Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Salary
SDE L1‑L5 (Lead): $20,000 – $80,000 + bonus (based on experience).
