Our Environmental business in Santiago is looking for an Engineer, Environmental Engineer, Environmental Scientist or Chemist to join their team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the future of our Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line through the coordination and implementation of a wide range of environmental solutions and projects.
This role will be based in Santiago, Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile.

The main purpose of the role is to create spatial data sets, maintain databases, analyze spatial data, and prepare digital maps through geographic information systems (GIS).
Prepare reports and provide interpretation and advice.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The new employee will be responsible for the following key duties and responsibilities:
Insights and Reporting: Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports.
Preparing reports and analyzing data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats.
Involves working independently. Data Management: Help others get the most out of data management systems by providing support and advice. Database Specifications: Provide information and comments on suitability during the approval process for database specifications to ensure all agreed standards and protocols are followed and data integrity is preserved. Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media Client & Customer Management (External): Maintaining customer relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Health, Safety, and Environment: Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace.
Identify patterns of risky behavior within the team and take appropriate action to resolve them, escalating serious issues as appropriate Bid Solicitation/Request for Proposal/Tender Preparation: Gather information and resources, and draft and complete standard requests for bid solicitation requests for proposal (RFP) and requests for tender (RFT) on the requester side Project Management: Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
Overseeing projects and coordinating with various departments to ensure successful project execution.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Studies, or Engineering 1 - 3 years of experience in environmental consulting Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
Proficiency in relational database concepts and fundamentals.
Experience with enterprise database software: EarthSoft EQuIS, MS SQL Server, Microsoft Access preferred but not required.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is required, to support a diverse client base and ensure effective communication across different regions.
