Business Development Manager IBM Software Job Opening In Santiago Province – Now Hiring TD SYNNEX

Vendor Business Manager – IBM Software 

Objetivo del Rol:


Responsable de desarrollar, activar y hacer crecer el ecosistema de canales y partners para la marca IBM Software en los países asignados, en alineación con la estrategia del fabricante y los objetivos del Plan CGI.
El rol es integral: combina habilidades consultivas, comerciales y técnicas para identificar oportunidades, desarrollar partners desde cero y acompañarlos en el ciclo de ventas hasta el cliente final.

Responsabilidades Clave

Desarrollo del Ecosistema de Partners

  • Identificar, reclutar y activar partners nuevos o inactivos.
  • Realizar análisis del perfil del partner y proponer soluciones IBM que complementen su portafolio y mercado objetivo.
  • Diseñar y ejecutar planes de trabajo para capacitación, habilitación y generación de demanda.
  • Acompañamiento Comercial y Consultivo

  • Participar en reuniones con clientes finales junto al partner, aportando visión consultiva.
  • Validar oportunidades y transferirlas al partner para su ejecución.
  • Proponer campañas y actividades proactivas (telemarketing, workshops, eventos).
  • Conocimiento de Soluciones y Mercado

  • Manejar un conocimiento profundo del portafolio IBM Software (Analítica, Seguridad, Automatización, Inteligencia Artificial, etc.).
  • Entender tendencias de la industria y casos de uso por vertical (Retail, Banca, etc.).
  • Relación con el Fabricante y Equipos Internos

  • Mantener relación cercana con líderes de IBM en cada país.
  • Coordinar acciones con el Vendor Manager local y equipos internos de TD SYNNEX.
  • Participar en la definición de estrategias y resolución de problemas junto al fabricante.
  • Gestión del Plan CGI

  • Ser el punto focal para la ejecución y seguimiento del Plan CGI.
  • Medir y reportar avances contra objetivos.
  • Asegurar alineación con programas, rebates y estrategia de IBM.

  • Perfil híbrido consultivo-comercial con base técnica: capaz de combinar conocimiento de soluciones IBM Software con habilidades de negocio.
  • Comunicación, negociación y resolución de conflictos: manejo efectivo de conversaciones con partners, clientes finales y equipos internos.
  • Trabajo colaborativo: capacidad para integrarse y coordinarse con equipos locales y del fabricante
  • Proactividad y generación de oportunidades: impulsar iniciativas sin esperar requerimientos del partner.
  • Orientación a resultados y KPIs: medir y alcanzar objetivos como: Reclutamiento y activación de partners.Crecimiento de ventas IBM Software en los países asignados.Ejecución de planes de trabajo y campañas de demanda con impacto medible.Participación exitosa en reuniones con clientes finales.Relación efectiva con IBM y equipos internos para asegurar alineación estratégica.
  • Experiencia y Conocimientos:

  • 5+ años en roles similares 
  • Experiencia en desarrollo de canales y ejecución de planes de negocio.
  • Conocimiento de tendencias tecnológicas (Cloud, Microservicios, IA).
  • Experiencia previa trabajando con IBM (deseable).
  • Manejo de estrategias de marketing digital para generación de demanda.
  • Inglés avanzado
