Agricultural Digital Twin
, an AI engine that virtually recreates real-world fields with up to 95% accuracy.
By simulating and optimizing farming processes, we help our clients improve profitability and transition towards sustainable production.
The Role
We are looking for a hybrid
AI/ML & Backend Engineer
to own the entire lifecycle of our core AI systems.
You won't just build and train models; you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the robust and scalable backend infrastructure that brings our Agricultural Digital Twin to life.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in systems design and concurrency to deploy cutting-edge AI technology that tackles real-world challenges in farming.
At Neutral Farming we are a team of 7 members across science, engineering and operations and you will be the first engineer leading the AI & Backend team working hand by hand with the CTO.
Key Responsibilities
Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong understanding of
systems design
, concurrency, and distributed computing principles.
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
- Experience with designing, maintaining and optimizing databases like postgres, bigquery etc
- Knowledge of core machine learning concepts and experience using frameworks like
PyTorch

TensorFlow
, or
scikit-learn
.
- Familiarity with containerization tools, particularly
Docker
.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (
GCP
) or Amazon Web Services (
AWS
).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Lead projects with proactivity and resolution willing to generate positive impact in agriculture.
