Where do you fit in?
The Associate Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and completing projects considering budget, timelines, resources, and task management.
They will communicate transparently and timely with clients and internal stakeholders, identify project risks, and ensure timely resolution while reporting on project status.
This role requires problem-solving skills, the ability to motivate a result-oriented team, and to build trust-based relationships with stakeholders.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing all phases of assigned projects, including project planning and client deliverables.
- Juggling multiple projects concurrently, maintaining schedules and quality standards.
- Coordinating with global project management and technical delivery teams to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
- Overseeing development and approval of study materials.
- Ensuring high-quality project deliverables that exceed client expectations in compliance with quality governance.
- Communicating project status and risks with sponsors.
- Reviewing resources and tasks to ensure logistics, materials, and technologies meet scope-of-services.
- Coordinating with sponsors to meet project expectations.
- Producing project status reports (weekly, interim, final).
- Facilitating creation and socialization of Change Orders with Business Development Operations.
- Maintaining positive relationships within client accounts through various communication channels.

- Contributing to process improvements to streamline workflows, add value, and meet client needs.
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and supporting client deliverables.

Decision-Making and Influence:
- Leading projects through influence.
- Making risk assessments and decisions aligned with company values and strategy.
- Managing customer escalations effectively with follow-up and closure.
You’ll need to bring:
- Three to five years of professional experience.
- Experience with work plans, budgets, invoicing, resource allocation, and deliverable management.
- College degree (B.S., B.A.) or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Excellent client and vendor relationship skills.
- Experience in career development and team management.
- Ability to travel for business (overnight trips expected).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluency in English (speaking, writing, understanding).
- Proactive time management skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, drive, and work ethic.
- Attention to detail.
Additional preferred qualifications:
- One to two years of project management experience.
- Background in pharmaceutical, medical education, or CRO industries.
- Experience in clinical trials or life sciences.
- Understanding of GCP principles (preferred).
