We are looking to hire for the position of Admissions Officer, according to the following skills and

Position Overview
The Middle & High School Admissions Officer plays a pivotal role in the recruitment and selection
process for students entering grades 6 through 12 at Nido de Aguilas.
The primary responsibility is
to manage the day-to-day operations of the admissions process for these grade levels, ensuring a
smooth, efficient, and welcoming experience for prospective families.
This position requires a
candidate with strong interpersonal skills, organizational expertise, and a deep understanding of the
needs of families seeking an international education for their children.

Qualifications and Experience
● Degree in Education, Psychology or related fields
● At least five years of experience in middle and high school; experience with student
assessments required.
Skills
● Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
● Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
● Knowledge of admissions processes, student assessments and standardized educational
testing.
MAP testing (preferred).
● Knowledge of Chilean and international education systems
● Proficiency in Google Suite and/or database management systems
Main Duties and Responsibilities
● Student Recruitment: Proactively attract and engage prospective families by presenting the
school’s offerings, culture, and values through one-on-one consultations, school tours, open
houses, and other outreach events.
● Application Management: Review and process applications for grades 6-12.
● Assessments: Coordinate and administer admissions assessments, as necessary, to ensure
that students meet academic and social-emotional criteria for admission.
● Communication: Maintain clear, consistent, and timely communication with prospective
families, guiding them through the entire admissions process.
● Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of applicants in the school's
● Collaboration: Work closely with key school departments (e.g., Academic, English as a
Second Language, Student Support Services, Counseling, Accounts, Communications, etc.) to
ensure the admissions process is streamlined and aligned with the school’s overall goals.
● Annual Re-enrollment: Assist the Admissions Office in yearly enrollment and re-enrollment
processes.
● School Initiatives: Collaborate with other initiatives as required, including Nido Scholars
and Parent Ambassadors.
