We are seeking a highly organized and proactive OpenShift & Linux Systems Infrastructure Administrator, who will report to our Department Lead to ensure our OpenShift and Maximo environments are resilient, secure and scalable.
We’re looking for a self‑starter with strong expertise in OpenShift & Linux systems administration, container orchestration, networking, and backup/disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities
- OpenShift Administration: Install, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters to ensure security, scalability and high availability while managing containerized workloads, integrations and performance optimization across environments with the appropriate documentation.
- Linux Systems Management: Administer and maintain Linux environments by performing system updates, monitoring OS‑level performance and networking, and proactively troubleshoot issues to maintain secure and efficient operations with appropriate documentation.
- Design Networks & Security: Design, document and maintain network and security configurations, implementing SSL/TLS management, SSO integration and ingress/egress controls to ensure compliance and resilient hybrid connectivity.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery : Design, execute and validate backup and disaster recovery plans for OpenShift/MAS environments, including coordination of Oracle‑level backups and routine DR testing to ensure business continuity.
- Innovation & Discovery: Leads discovery and proof‑of‑concept initiatives for new OpenShift features and applications, driving innovation through continuous evaluation and integration of technologies that optimize performance and scalability.
- Operational Support: Provides operational support for OpenShift environments, including restarts, incident resolution, and stakeholder collaboration to maintain availability and address technical challenges efficiently.
Must Have Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in OpenShift Administration.
Experience in supporting multi‑instance/multi‑tenant OpenShift environments is an asset.
- 2+ years of Linux server administration experience (Red Hat/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Experience with cloud deployments and on‑premise infrastructure.
Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle and DB2 databases.
- IT System Administrator certifications.
- Networking certifications in areas such as DNS, VPN, SSO, reverse proxy and firewall are an asset.
- Red Hat OpenShift related certifications.Experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) deployment and lifecycle management.
