Account Manager, Public Sector Job Opening In Chile, Chile – Now Hiring Microsoft

Overview

Join to apply for the Account Manager, Public Sector role at Microsoft.

Proactively cultivates relationships with customers and uses Microsoft sales strategies to establish alignment and secure buy-in and execution.

Develops a comprehensive understanding of customers' needs, strategies, priorities, and industry direction.

Leads digital transformation to drive business outcomes and value for customers.

Develops and oversees the execution of account plans to drive revenue and customer value.

Thinks strategically about account planning, resource allocation, and prioritization.

Oversees complex accounts and coordinates with internal partners to promote long-term digital transformation strategies.

Leverages executive relationships to build trust and engagement with customer organizations.

Develops compelling value propositions, business plans, and plans for maximizing upselling/cross-selling opportunities.

Coordinates with internal and external experts to build knowledge of the industry and competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Expand networks of internal and external partners to ensure execution of core tasks and account transactions; grow sales and partner impact; share opportunities outbound/inbound; engage partner sellers to drive momentum and deal closure.

  • Strategic planning: Anticipate moves within assigned accounts, prioritize actions, and coordinate with the account management team to adjust priorities and tackle high-impact actions.

  • Account planning execution: Develop and oversee account plans using Microsoft-specified methods to meet revenue targets and customer needs; drive accountability across extended virtual teams; identify stakeholders and opportunities; propose initial Solutions/Sales Plays.

  • Customer Engagement: Build relationships with executives and decision makers to establish Rhythm of Business, highlight value, and foster trust; leverage digital selling to grow networks and pipelines; collaborate with partners to build joint go-to-market strategies.

  • Industry knowledge: Maintain knowledge of Microsoft's product landscape and strategy in assigned industries; coordinate with internal experts to gather industry data and improve planning.

  • Sales Excellence: Lead and orchestrate extended teams to meet customer needs and accelerate sales; document stakeholder maps and gather customer feedback to drive satisfaction and reduce risk; establish and monitor success measures.

  • Value propositions and growth: Develop value-proposition presentations and business plans that drive outcomes and upsell opportunities; present plans to customers to generate new opportunities; engage stakeholders to drive adoption and consumption of Microsoft solutions.

  • Governance and customer outcomes: Ensure plans are executed, create/uphold governance, and capture customer testimonials for reference.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration AND 4+ years of experience in an industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education) or related work (e.g., consulting, technology); OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 3+ years of experience in a relevant industry and/or driving digital transformation; OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of account management experience or equivalent.

Additional Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration AND 6+ years of experience in an industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education) or related work experience; OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 8+ years of experience; OR equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of account management experience or equivalent.
